Linda LeGarde Grover is a member of the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa and professor of American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She is author of novels, essays and poetry that have received the Flannery O’Connor and Minnesota Book awards, as well as others. She is currently researching the intersections between traditional Ojibwe stories, historical events, and current lives of Ojibwe people.
