Honorée Fanonne Jeffers is the author of National Book Critics Circle Award for Fiction winner The Love Songs of W.E.B. DuBois and the poetry collection The Age of Phillis. Both titles are longlisted for the National Book Award. She also teaches at The University of Oklahoma.
