Aran Donovan is Assistant Director with the Virginia Center for the Book, where she supports both the Virginia Festival of the Book and Book Arts. Prior to joining the Center for the Book, she worked with a variety of New Orleans nonprofits, including Friends of New Orleans Public Library and Tulane University’s Center for Public Service. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas and MA in Italian from Middlebury College.
