“Get wild” about reading with WHTJ / WVPT PBS and the Virginia Discovery Museum as they host some of Virginia’s feathered and furry friends with Rockfish Wildlife Sanctuary. Meet wild animals who migrate, hibernate, or just tough it out, and learn how human activities can affect animals.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jason Gallaher and Emma Otheguy have had to cancel their participation. A selection of beloved children’s authors and illustrators take turns reading from their books, interspersed with short activities for children ages 3-6. Parents are welcome to join in as well, and drop-ins are encouraged at this informal program.
