Our goal is to make Festival programming as inclusive as possible.
Our virtual events are hosted virtually on Zoom and Facebook Live, with captions provided. For most of our events, closed captions and an accompanying live transcript will be made available through Zoom’s built-in automatic speech recognition software (ASR). To request live-captioning accommodations, please write vabook@virginia.edu no later than seven days before a given event. A video recording from most virtual events will be provided soon after completion and an accurate transcript will be available at a later date, at VaBook.org/watch.
