Join author Jeffrey Dale Lofton for a conversation with Nat Slater about his book Red Clay Suzie, the coming-of-age story of Philbet, gay and living with a disability, battling bullying, ignorance, and disdain as he makes his way in life as an outsider in the Deep South—before finding acceptance in unlikely places. This event, co-hosted by the Shenandoah LGBTQ Center and The Off Center, is free and open to the public and will be followed by book sales and a signing.
