Two poets examine how the mind and body ail and heal. Yale Younger Poet Cindy Juyoung Ok punctuates her debut Ward Toward with digital renderings of psychiatric wards and therapists’ notes. Guggenheim Fellow Brian Teare, in Poem Bitten by a Man, uses ekphrasis in his lyric essay on his pursuit of a diagnosis for a chronic illness.
