March 18, 12 PM-1 PM: Novelists Rachel Beanland (Florence Adler Swims Forever), Brian Castleberry (Nine Shiny Objects), and Lauren Francis-Sharma (Book of the Little Axe) discuss their sweeping works of historical fiction, ranging from 18th-century Trinidad to 20th-century America, and grappling with colonialism, family secrets, racism, and questions of belief.
March 25, 12 PM-1 PM: Karen Grey (What I’m Looking For), Tif Marcelo (Once Upon a Sunset), and Lorelei Parker (Crushing It) discuss their contemporary romance novels, featuring healthy doses of romantic comedy, passion, and heartwarming second chances.
March 26, 12 PM-1 PM: As the third annual Carol Troxell Reader, acclaimed mystery author Cara Black (Three Hours in Paris) will read from and discuss her newest book, a standalone historic thriller set in occupied Paris. In Three Hours in Paris, as with her nineteen Aimée LeDuc books set in the Parisian arrondissements, Black masterfully uses the setting to reinforce the story’s many twists and turns.
March 26, 7 PM-8 PM: Authors John Grisham (A Time for Mercy) and Ian Rankin (A Song for Dark Times) discuss their new books, revisiting long-time characters, writing crime novels, and frankly, anything else they’d like to discuss.
