Program Details

Mark Ethridge's first novel is Grievances. A third-generation reporter,he directed the Charlotte Observer's Pulitzer Prize-winning investigations of the textile industry and the PTL scandal involving Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. Ethridge publishes parenting magazines and consults for a NASCAR fan magazine.

Malcom MacPherson, whose novel Hocus Potus satirizes post-invasion Iraq, is a former longtime correspondent for Time and Newsweek. As a journalist, he covered Ambassador Paul Bremer in Iraq.

Saira Rao, author of Chambermaid, is a native of Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from UVa and the New York University School of Law. She clerked for a federal judge and worked at a New York City law firm.
