Authors' Reception

Join us as we celebrate ten years of the Virginia Festival of the Book at the annual Authors' Reception at Carr's Hill, the Home of the President of the University of Virginia. The gala wine and hors d'oeuvres reception runs from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

This year the Authors Reception is hosted by two author-couples: nonfiction writers Donna Lucey (Photographing Montana 1894-1928) and Henry Wiencek (An Imperfect God), and fiction writers John Gregory Brown (Audubon's Watch) and Carrie Brown (Confinement).

All festival authors are invited, and tickets for the public are available through the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities for $25 each. Call 434-924-3296 to make a reservation; have your credit card ready when you call.
