Headline Event PoliciesSeating PolicyFree admission tickets for headline events will be distributed at the venue
one hour before the listed start time of each of the headline programs, on a first-come,
first-served basis. Limit two tickets per person. No linejumping will be permitted,
and ticketholders are asked to proceed into the auditorium upon receipt of tickets
as quickly as possible. Tickets are place holders to be sure a safe number of
attendees have entered the facility, but you must be in you seat five minutes
before the start time of the event for the admission to be honored. We will begin
filling in remaining seats at this time. Photography PolicyPhotographs and video of Festival events, participants, audiences, and by-standers are the property of the Virginia Festival of the Book and the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities. Event photography is reserved for authorized media participants and sponsors; private photography of events or participants is not allowed.
