Youth and Family Night at the Culbreth Theatre, University of Virginia

"Our Young Country"
Wednesday, March 20, 7 p.m.

A reading and booksigning with:

• The author and illustrator team Pamela Duncan Edwards and Henry Cole, an author and illustrator team who have collaborated on eight books, including Boston Tea Party, Barefoot: Escape on the Underground Railroad, Ed and Fred Flea, and Warthogs in the Kitchen.
  
  
• Author Phil Hoose, who was nominated for the National Book Award for a children's book this year for We Were There, Too: Young People in U.S. History

This program, appropriate for elementary and middle school aged children and adults, will be hosted by Peter Jones, host of Tell Us a Tale, Central Virginia's premiere radio show for children.

The evening is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Culbreth lot and at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
