This midday event is presented by Motheread and Fatheread, the family literacy program of the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities. Poet Arlene Carter-Pounds (The Sugar Lady), author Kathy May (Molasses Man), illustrator Mark Teague (Poppleton series), singer/songwriter Phil Hoose, and young author Akaela S. Michels-Gualtieri will entertain children and adults alike.
