Getting Around the Festival


The Festival Trolley

A trolley will run between the University of Virginia and downtown Charlottesville, free of charge, courtesy of the Charlottesville Transit Service.

Trolley Schedule

    Thursday, March 23 - Saturday, March 25: 9 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.,
    Sunday, March 26: 1 p.m. - 11:30 pm.

    The bus serves each stop every 30 minutes, as follows:

    :00 & :30 Jefferson Park Avenue and Brandon
    :03 & :33 Jefferson Park Avenue and Maury
    :06 & :36 Alderman & McCormick
    :07 & :37 Bridge at Emmet & McCormick (UVa Bookstore, Newcomb Hall Parking Garage)
    :08 & :38 University Avenue at the Rotunda
    :10 & :40 14th & Main (Red Roof Inn/The Corner)
    :11 & :41 11th and W. Main (Hampton Inn & Suites)
    :20 & :50 2nd and Market Street (Central Library, JMRL/Village School)
    :22 & :52 7th Street/City Hall
    :24 & :54 Water Street Parking Garage, Downtown Mall
    :25 & :55 Omni Charlottesville Hotel, Downtown Mall
    :28 & :58 11th and Main (Hampton Inn & Suites, West Main Street)


For those with disabilities

    Transportation for festival-goers with disabilities will be available free of charge, courtesy of JAUNT. Call Jim Fitzgerald at 296-3184 to make reservations.

    Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance -- reservations made further in advance are appreciated.

    Please note, you will be charged for trips cancelled less than 2 hours in advance.
